Freitag Abend war ich das erste Mal seit urdenklichen Zeiten im Ausgang. Ich hatte bei Gay Basel zwei Tickets gewonnen für die Albumtaufe der nächsten
Königinnen. Zuvor ging ich mit einer Freundin essen und dann begann alles eine Stunde später. Im Rossstall der Kaserne gabs keine Sitzgelegenheiten, so dass ich mich im Vorraum auf ein Sofa
setzte und die Beine hochlegte. Gestern verschlief ich fast den ganzen Nachmittag.Trotzdem hockt die Anstrengung immer noch in den Muskeln.
Jä nu, jetzt weiss ich wieder, wo meine körperlichen Grenzen derzeit sind.
Jemand vom Gewerbeverband (hab den Namen vergessen), der gestern zwei Abstimmungen
verlor, meinte, die Leute hätten Verkehrspolitik mit der Klimapolitik verwechselt. Wie gespalten muss man(n) denken, um nicht zu merken, dass Verkehrspolitik Auswirkungen auf das Klima hat und
die beiden nicht voneinander zu trennen sind.
In der Nationalen Abstimmung zum Schutz von Lesben und Schwulen vor Hass und Diskriminierung ergab sich ein deutliches Ja. Die Hetzer dürfen privat noch Hasstiraden äussern, aber nicht mehr in der Öffentlichkeit. Und das ist gut so.
Leider ging die Abstimmung zu bezahlbarem Wohnraum des Schweizerischen Mieter*innenverbandes verloren. Ich wundere mich seit ich politisch denken kann über Menschen in der Schweiz, die so abstimmen, als wären sie morgen Milliardäre oder, in diesem Fall, Mietshausbesitzer*innen.

On Friday evening I was out for a concert for the first time since a very long time. I had won two tickets at Gay Basel for the album release of the next queens,
means the group "Les Reines Prochaines". Before that, I went out to eat with a (female*) friend. They started an hour later than than announced by Gay Basel. There was no seating in the Kaserne's
so called horse stable, so I sat on a sofa in the anteroom and put my legs up. Yesterday I slept for most of the afternoon, but the effort is still in my muscles.
Well, yeah, now I know where my physical limits are in these days.
Someone (forgot the name) from the trade association who lost two urban popular votes yesterday said that people had confused transport policy with climate policy. How divided do you have to think in order not to notice that transport policy has an impact on the climate and the two cannot be separated.
The national vote to protect lesbians and gays against hatred and discrimination was a resounding yes. The rabble-rousers may still express hate speech in private rooms, but no longer in public. And that's a good thing.
Unfortunately, the vote on affordable housing by the Swiss Tenants' Association was lost. Since I can think politically I've been wondering about people in Switzerland, who vote as if they were billionaires tomorrow or, in this case, owners of tenement houses.
